Agile Project Management Sessions

Ford IT @ Chennai – 06th Dec 2011

As part of Global IT Learning Summit (GLITS), FORD IT conducted series of sessions between 5th Dec and 9th Dec 2011. On 6th Dec, Visukumar Gopal (PMI-India Champion) took a session on “Agile Project Management” to participants of above mentioned summit. This session was helpful to the participants for implementing agile practices in day to day work. He highlighted about PMI’s Agile Certification Program benefits in this session.


JDA Software @ Bangalore – 14th Dec 2011

PMI-India and JDA University jointly organized the session for Project Leads and Managers of JDA to get benefited on Agile Project Management. Visukumar Gopal, MBA, PMP, was invited for this session as external speaker to cover the following topics: 

•    Agile Overview
•    Benefits of Agile
•    Agile Project Management vs. Traditional Project Management
•    Agile Project Management – Implementation (High Level)
•    PMI’s history with Agile
•    PMI – ACP and its value

Visukumar insisted about the change, which need to be happening in the perspective of managing projects with upcoming methodologies on top of the traditional Project Management.
