Sai Ram Engineering College organized staff development program on “Case Tools Environments & Workbenches” on 21st & 22nd Dec 2011. Visukumar Gopal (Practice Manager – CEO’s Office) from Syntel Ltd, inaugurated this program by lighting the Kuthuvillaku.   Visukumar Gopal delivered inaugural address. In that he explained the necessity of CASE Tool Environment (Process-centered) and Workbenches class (Project Management).   Also he talked about importance of Project Management Certification (CAPM) for students and staffs.

Knowledge Sharing Session of PMI-Chennai Chapter happened at Cognizant (TCO), Chennai on 16th Dec 2011. In that session Guest Speaker Visukumar Gopal, talked about Project Management in LEAN way. He explained that how to meet increasing customer value in a competitive world day by day and also this maximization of Customer Value can be done through minimizing the waste in Operation, respecting others' ideas / views (which helps to bring people potential out also) and focused in unified direction with purpose. Visukumar insisted about LEAN Principles, Tools and Techniques and how that will help to think in LEAN way and help to build a new culture in the organization. Ford IT @ Chennai – 06th Dec 2011 As part of Global IT Learning Summit (GLITS), FORD IT conducted series of sessions between 5th Dec and 9th Dec 2011. On 6th Dec, Visukumar Gopal (PMI-India Champion) took a session on “Agile Project Management” to participants of above mentioned summit. This session was helpful to the participants for implementing agile practices in day to day work. He highlighted about PMI’s Agile Certification Program benefits in this session.
