Francis Xavier Engineering College, Tirunelveli The college day was celebrated on the 5th of April 2008 at 5p.m. It is a day that culminates all events academic, cultural and sports at Francis Xavier Engineering College. NEC Visit

Started from Chennai on 30th April to Madurai. After 30 mins delay flight landed at Madurai Airport. Then journey continued by car to Kovilpatti. Guesthouse located next to highway and experienced a very peaceful place to stay. Had sound sleep without any noise disturbance after longtime. On 1st May morning, had typical south Indian breakfast made by Guesthouse chef Mr.Arumugam, then proceeded to college. Had discussion with few Sr. Professors and HODs about the current educational system and the gap between institutional education and Industrial requirement. Around 10 AM the Alumni day function started with prayer and followed by welcome address. When I have to give Chief Guest Address to the group of people who gathered on that occasion, just witnessed that different age group people attending from different parts of India.
