PMI India - Champions Annual Meet @ Goa ( 13th to 15th Dec 2013 )

Landed at Goa airport on 13th Dec evening, then one hour drive to Hotel Vivanta by Taj. After reached there, networked with Champions and CAC members following that dinner (Goa specical fish dishes).   Next day morning went to swimming pool @ terrace, after 30 mins swim, spent sometime in Jacuzzi.  So relaxed after applied rose water on eyes. Had very good breakfast.   Day started with good news from PMI India team and Champion Program Chairs. Received a Nexus 7 tab from Mr. Raj Kalady for the accomplishments as PMI India - Senior Champion.   After program started, Raj announced that based on the contributions to this program, I was elevated as Associate CAC ( Champion Advisory Committee ) member of PMI India Champion Program. Following that Champions shared about their contributions and we had delicious lunch.   Afternoon there was a game and team building exercise for all the participants, it was lot of fun and many learnings to us.   Evening during award

Many times we do not ask – why we do what we do

Eight monkeys are put in a room. In the middle of the room is a ladder, leading to a bunch of bananas hanging from a hook on the ceiling. Each time a monkey tries to climb the ladder; all the monkeys are sprayed with ice water, which makes them miserable. Sooner enough, whenever a monkey attempts to climb the ladder, all of the other monkeys, not wanting to be sprayed, set upon him and beat him up. Soon, none of the eight monkeys ever attempts to climb the ladder. One of the original monkeys is then removed, and a new monkey is put in the room. Seeing the bananas and the ladder, he wonders why none of the other monkeys are doing the obvious, but, undaunted, he immediately begins to climb the ladder. All the other monkeys fall upon him and beat him silly. He has no idea why. However, he no longer attempts to climb the ladder. A second original monkey is removed and replaced. The newcomer again attempts to climb the ladder, but all the other monkeys hammer the crap out of h
